Other Events The Corporation is filing this Current Report on Form 8-K to report that on June 11, 1999, COMSAT Corporation issued a press release announcing its Annual Meeting of Shareholders has been postponed. At this meeting, COMSAT Corporation shareholders will vote on the proposed merger of Lockheed Martin Corporation and COMSAT Corporation. The meeting, which was originally scheduled for June 18, 1999 is now scheduled for August 20, 1999.
