Lockheed Martin-Led Team Selected to Prototype New Space Situation Awareness Capabilities for U.S. Air Force

Integrated net-centric solution to protect U.S. space assets

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Dec. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has been selected to develop capabilities in support of the U.S. Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center's Space Situation Awareness mission. The contract is valued at $20 million over two years.

The Lockheed Martin ISSA team, which includes Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems, will perform majority of the work in Valley Forge, Pa., and Azusa, Calif.
